After working at the front desk and taking lessons at Mode, Lydia Mellott became the New Student Coordinator in October, working remotely from Los Angeles after relocating to pursue music with her band, THEM. Drawing from her experience on both sides of the studio, she is dedicated to helping new students feel comfortable, guiding them through a smooth onboarding process, and making sure all students have a positive experience at Mode!

Dani Kalan has been a working artist, musician, and educator for over 20 years, with roots in the Seattle punk scene where she grew up. After years in education, she now works in admin and scheduling, bringing the same creativity, organization, and people-first mindset to keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. Her background in art and music still shapes everything she does, from how she communicates to how she solves problems. When she’s not working, you can usually find her at local shows or playing pinball.
